I desire to acquaint the House that in the course of an informal discussion at the meeting of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges it was the view that the hours of sitting should be extended to 10.0 p.m. when business warranted a sitting to that hour. Should a question arise for discussion on the Adjournment the matter would be taken at 9.30 p.m. I presume that the suggested arrangement meets with general agreement. It will be formally ratified in a minute of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges at its next meeting.
