Since the House last met it has been suggested, and Senators have been so informed, as Thursday of next week will be a holyday of obligation, that the Second Stage of the Local Government Bill fixed for Wednesday next might be brought forward to Tuesday. If the House agrees, the necessary Order can now be made.
