Business of Seanad.

I wonder could we have some indication as to what the prospects are of being able to finish to-night, or whether it will be necessary for the House to sit to-morrow.

Surely, we will finish the Fourth Stage of the Bill to-night. I should hope that we will be able to finish it within an hour.

Judging by the experiences we have had, it might be necessary for the House to sit to-morrow in the event of the Fourth Stage not being finished to-night I merely wanted to indicate that if we did not finish the Fourth Stage to-night the House should sit to-morrow.

The main person that prevented us from finishing was the Minister, and he is not here.

That is a dreadful threat.

I think we are doing well as it is.

I merely wanted to get from the House an indication of what the prospects were.
