Vol. 32 No. 9

Business of the Seanad.

Before we enter upon the business for to-day, may I ask if there is any prospect of our getting the Industrial Relations Bill next week? If there is, we should certainly meet next week and take it, even with short notice.

The information we have so far is that we shall, probably, have that Bill on Tuesday evening. The Second Stage might, perhaps, be taken on Thursday—if there is no objection to that course.

If we had time, it might be taken on Wednesday. I should have no objection to that course.

There would, of course, be no objection from this side.

If the House is agreeable, the Second Stage can be taken on Wednesday.

What is the arrangement?

The Bill will, probably, reach us on Tuesday evening and, if it does, the Second Stage will be taken on Wednesday, by agreement, if there is time.
