Vol. 36 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, except motion No. 5, with regard to the teachers' superannuation scheme, as the Minister for Education is not available. Senator R.M. Burke does not desire to take up motion No. 6, owing to a recent bereavement in his family. If we have time to-day, therefore, we will go on to motion No. 7.

The first Order on the Dáil Order Paper to-day is the Local Loans Fund (Amendment) Bill. The Minister for Finance is anxious to get that Bill to-day in the Dáil, and if he does—it will presumably be a Money Bill—we might be asked to meet to-morrow to consider it. I think the House should know that at the earliest moment.

Agreed.
