Could we be told how many applications there were and how many pensions were granted under the 1924 Act?

The number of applications under the 1924 Act, was 21,121. The number of awards was 3,906; and 17,215 was the number rejected. Under the 1934 Act the number of applications was 60,852; the number of awards 11,862 and 46,900 odd were rejected.

Bill reported without amendment.
Agreed to take remaining stages to-day.
Bill received for final consideration and passed.
Ordered: That the Bill be returned to the Dáil.
