Vol. 41 No. 2

Order of Business.

It has been agreed that motion No. 12 on the Order Paper be taken at 7 o'clock.

I understand that there has been agreement to take the business as set out on the Order Paper, but I should make it clear to the House that pressure of business may delay some of the Ministers in regard to some of the items.

I should like to ask if there is a possibility that item No. 13 on the Order Paper might be taken after the income-tax motion this evening?

It has been agreed to take business as on the Order Paper.

We would be over-optimistic to expect that the income-tax motion would conclude in time to permit of a discussion on item No. 13. It would mean meeting to-morrow.

We can travel hopefully.

Would it not mean that we would have to meet to-morrow?
