Vol. 45 No. 13

Order of Business.

It is intended to take business as on the Order Paper. The Minister for Agriculture will not be available after 7 o'clock, because the Greyhound Industry Bill is being taken in the other House. Perhaps, therefore, if it were possible for him to intervene before 6 o'clock on motion No. 8, it would probably be convenient for the House to take it.

There is one other matter. A Wireless Telegraphy Bill is being introduced in the Dáil to-day and I understand that agreement has been reached to take all stages. If that should happen before 6 o'clock, I think it would be for the convenience of the House to bring it in here at 7 o'clock, if there was agreement. Subject to agreement, that will be taken at 7 o'clock.

On the point that the Minister for Agriculture may not be available after 7 o'clock, I wonder would the proposer of motion No. 7 be willing to postpone his motion until after motion No. 8 has been dealt with?

I assumed that, if it convenienced the Minister and the House, we would take item No. 8 before item No. 7. I take it that Senator Crowley has no objection to that.

Does that mean that we have to complete the discussion on motion No. 8?
