Vol. 46 No. 16

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, that is to say, to take Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, to leave over the rest of the business until after Christmas. I take it it is not desired to enter on to these Bills, Nos. 5 and 6 or any of the motions until after Christmas.

Is that agreed?

Mr. O'Sullivan

No, Sir. I should like very much if motion No. 8 in my name could be taken before Christmas.

I had no notice of that. I tried to contact members of the Opposition but could find nobody here. I am very sorry. I will do my best but I do not know how it can be done exactly before Christmas. We shall find a way, if there is time.

Where there is a will, there is a way.

Mr. O'Sullivan

There is plenty of time.

The Minister for Defence is not available to-day, Sir.

Mr. O'Sullivan

We have to-morrow for it.

For to-day the House has ample business to occupy itself and when to-morrow comes, if to-morrow comes——

Mr. O'Sullivan

To-morrow will come, Sir. We will be here.
