Vol. 50 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as set out on the Order Paper.

On a point of order, I understood there was to be a reference to my first motion on the Order Paper, No. 6, which has been held temporarily as out of order.

This is in relation to the motion on the internees?

The usual procedure is to wait until we come to the item, but, if the Senator wishes, I will indicate the position to him now.

I am sorry. I am quite happy with that arrangement. I thought perhaps it was an oversight because I have just received your communication on that, and I understood it was usual to announce such decisions at the beginning.

It is usual to announce the ruling when the matter is reached.

I accept that. I am sorry.
