It is proposed to take Items Nos. 1 and 2 on the Order Paper. All Stages of the Finance Bill will be taken.
Order of Business.
Before we take up consideration of the Finance Bill, I should like to inform the Seanad that I am using the certified copy of the Bill as passed in Dáil Éireann. This is the copy of the Bill as amended in Committee, with the Report Stage amendments inserted, and as a result of the insertions, the sections had to be renumbered. I will inform the Seanad of the changes in the numbers as we go along. There are three recommendations submitted by Senator Quinlan. Recommendation No. 2 is out of order on the ground that it increases taxation.
