Fuarthas an teachtaireacht seo a leanas ó Dháil Éireann:
Tá Dáil Éireann tar éis an tOrdú seo a leanas a dhéanamh:—
(1) Go gceapfar Roghchoiste ar a mbeidh na comhaltaí sin de Dháil Éireann atá de thuras na huaire ina dtoscairí chun Tionól na gComhphobal Eorpach agus deich gcomhalta eile a ainmneoidh an Coiste Roghnóireachta a bheidh le comhcheangal le Roghchoiste a cheapfaidh Seanad Éireann chun bheith ina Chomhchoiste faoi Reachtaíocht Thánaisteach na gComhphobal Eorpach.
(2) Go scrúdóidh an Chomhchoiste—
(i) ar cibé dréachtaí arna n-ullmhú ag Coimisiún na gComhphobal Eorpach agus arna gcur faoi bhráid Chomhairle na gComhphobal sin, de rialacháin, ordacháin, cinntí agus moltaí de chuid na Comhairle sin,
(ii) ar cibé ionstraimí de chuid institiúidí na gComhphobal sin,
(iii) ar cibé rialacháin faoi Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach, 1972 (Uimh. 27 de 1972), agus
(iv) ar cibé ionstraim eile a dhéanfar faoi reacht agus a bheidh riachtanach de dhroim dualgais a thagann as bheith i gcomhaltas de na Comhphobail sin,
a roghnóidh sé agus go dtabharfaidh sé tuarascáil orthu go dhá Theach an Oireachtais.
(3) Gur cúig chomhalta is córam don Chomhchoiste agus comhalta de Dháil Éireann a bheidh i nduine amháin ar a laghad acu agus comhalta de Sheanad Éireann a bheidh i nduine amháin ar a laghad acu.
The following message has been received from Dáil Éireann:
Dáil Éireann has made the following Order:—
(1) That a Select Committee consisting of those members of Dáil Éireann who are for the time being delegates to the Assembly of the European Communities and ten other members who shall be nominated by the Committee of Selection be appointed to be joined with a Select Committee to be appointed by Seanad Éireann to form the joint Committee on the Secondary Legislation of the European Communities.
(2) That the Joint Committee shall examine—
(i) such drafts, prepared by the Commission of the European Communities and submitted to the Council of those Communities, of regulations, directives, decisions, recommendations and opinions, of the Council,
(ii) such acts of the institutions of those Communities,
(iii) such regulations under the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and
(iv) such other instruments made under statute and necessitated by the obligations of membership of those Communities,
as it may select and shall report thereon to both Houses of the Oireachtas.
(3) That five members of the Joint Committee shall form a quorum of whom at least one shall be a member of Dáil Éireann and at least one shall be a member of Seanad Éireann.
