Following consultation with me in relation to a notice for the motion on the adjournment which I had to disallow yesterday, Senator Robinson has given me notice of the following revised matter:
The fact that persons entitled are not getting the benefits of the scheme for free legal aid in criminal cases because of lack of adequate publicity and inadequacy of fees.
I am accepting that notice and the matter will be taken from 4.30 to 5 p.m. or earlier if the Order of Business is completed.
