Vol. 82 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 1 today. I should mention at this stage that the Minister has an engagement in the evening. I suggest that we break from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. instead of from 5.30 p.m. to 6.45 p.m., in order to enable him to fulfil that engagement. I suggest also that we might consider extending the Order of Business after the tea break. There are some other Bills that may come to us in the course of the day and it may be convenient to order them later. I suggest we should look at it after the tea break if Senators are agreeable.

That is reasonable.

Perhaps in view of this, the Leader of the House could let us know what are the other Bills that might come up so that we will have some chance to do some work on them.

There is the Nitrigin Éireann Teoranta Bill, an Air Navigation Bill and a Turf Development Bill. It is possible that these will come. If they do, I suggest that we might order them, although I am not entirely confident that we would reach them anyhow.

Order of Business agreed to.
