I have notice from Senator Robinson that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House this evening, she proposes to raise the following matter:
The lack of implementation of the provisions of section 17 of the Social Welfare (Supplementary Welfare Allowances) Act, 1975, and the hardship caused thereby to certain deserted wives.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 4.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. or earlier if the business ordered is concluded.
