Nomination of Members.

Fógraím gur ainmnidh an Taoiseach Pádraig Ó Meádhra agus Seosamh Ó Néill, le réamhchead uatha féin, chun bheith ina gcomhaltaí de Sheanad Éireann le go líonfar na corrfholúntais i líon na gcomhaltaí a ainmnítear do Sheanad Éireann a tharla de dhroim Séamus Ó Braonáin agus Máire Ní Airne a thoghadh ina gcomhaltaí de Dháil Éireann.

I announce that the Taoiseach nominated Patrick J. Mara and Joseph O'Neill, with their prior consent, to be Members of Seanad Éireann to fill the casual vacancies in the number of nominated Members of Seanad Éireann caused by the election to Dáil Éireann of Séamus Brennan and Mary Harney.

Senator Mara and Senator O'Neill were introduced to the Cathaoirleach and then took their seats.
