I have notice from Senator Brendan Ryan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The refusal of the Department of Social Welfare to permit the payment of unemployment assistance to two members of the Irish under 18 football team during their participation in the European Youth Championships in Moscow.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., or earlier if the business ordered is concluded.
