Vol. 108 No. 3

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

Item No. 3.

I am now in the position of having to produce another Minister at a few seconds notice. Perhaps the House would indulge us in order to allow the Minister time to come across from his office. I understand the Minister, Deputy Bruton, is not yet available. The Minister for Social Welfare is at a meeting and has not yet been extracted from it. I also understand that Senator Catherine McGuinness is not in the precincts. In these circumstances I suggest that we take an early tea adjournment and resume at 6 o'clock. I would hope to have some business for the House at 6 p.m.

Sitting suspended at 4.55 p.m. and resumed at 6 p.m.
