An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Jimmy Deenihan that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to make provision for the Cappanalea outdoor centre in Killorglin, County Kerry, which is threatened with closure.

I have also received notice of another matter from Senator Deenihan as follows:

The urgent need for the Minister for Education to sanction proposals for (i) the new school, Scoil Mhiceasmainn, Tralee, County Kerry; and (ii) the extension of Coolard national school, Listowel, County Kerry

I have also received notice from Senator Katherine Bulbulia of the following matter:

The urgent need to have Waterford city centre included in the recently announced major concessions in the income tax and rating code for the commercial redevelopment of specified areas in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

I regard the matters raised by Senator Deenihan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I regret, I have to rule that the matter raised by Senator Bulbulia is not suitable for discussion on the Adjournment on the ground of advocacy of legislation. I have selected Senator Deenihan's matter on Cappanalea Outdoor Centre for today's Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Notice may be given another day by Senator Deenihan on the second matter.
