Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 6 Mar 1986

Vol. 111 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to order for today Nos. 1, 2 and 3. It is proposed that if No. 1 carries through past 1 o'clock the debate would be adjourned at a suitable time between 1 o'clock and 1.30 and the House suspended and that the House should resume at 2.30 in order to take up item Nos. 2 and 3. In the event of No. 1 not lasting until 1 o'clock it is proposed that the House would be suspended at the conclusion of No. 1 and in this case the resumption would be still at 2.30 because, as I explained to the House yesterday, the Minister for Social Welfare is liable to be engaged in the Dáil until that time and the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, who is concerned with motion No. 3, has a longstanding engagement for the morning outside Dublin.

Order of Business agreed to.
