I have notice from Senator Killilea that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education to accede to the request of the board of management and teachers of Currandulla National School, County Galway to enable the amalgamation of the two schools there to take place in September of this year and that the eight teachers be retained to take into account the special circumstances of the location of the two schools.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. or earlier if the business ordered is concluded.
