Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 10 Mar 1988

Vol. 118 No. 19

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Paul Bradford that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

In view of the reduction of the annual State grants to the community development association, Muintir na Tíre, the need for funding to be provided from the national lottery.

I also received notice from Senator Nuala Fennell of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to indicate when allocations from the national lottery will be made to voluntary organisations.

I regard the matters by Senators Bradford and Fennell as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Bradford's motion and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Fennell may give notice for another day of the matter she wishes to raise.
