Vol. 119 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Items Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 today. The order will be Items Nos. 1, 2; Item No. 4 will be taken third and Item No. 3, fourth.

Could I ask the Leader of the House if he proposes to make Government time available in the coming weeks to discuss Item No. 63? It is a very important motion and I think all parties would agree to have it discussed. Secondly, I am curious about Item No. 7 on the Order Paper. Has the Leader of the House any more clear idea at this stage as to when he will be ordering this motion?

I would like to ask the Leader of the House, assuming we get through Committee Stage of No. 2 today, when it is intended to take Report Stage.

It is intended that Item No. 63 will be taken within the next two weeks. I doubt that it can be taken next week but it will be definitely taken the week after, if at all possible, depending on Government business. On Item No. 7, again I can give no guarantee as to when it will be taken. Item No. 2 will be resumed next week again.

Order of Business agreed to.
