I have notice from Senator Padraic McCormack that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Industry and Commerce to comment on the job losses in the industrial sector as a result of the laying off of staff in Thermo King and if he will take action to alleviate the situation and ensure the maintenance and expansion of the workforce there.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
