Vol. 120 No. 15

Business of Seanad.

On the Order of Business the Leader of the House forgot to mention that the debate on the motion on the thoroughbred horse breeding industry would take three hours and also that only 15 minutes would be allowed to each speaker. Since he did not mention that, our timing has been upset. I have discussed the matter with the leaders of the three groups and with the Leas-Chathaoirleach, and we have agreed to sit one hour longer tonight, and adjourn at 10 p.m.

Will the Acting Leader of the House confirm that the Local Government (Multi-Storey Buildings) Bill will be taken tomorrow morning rather than at any stage during this evening?

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

That would appear to be the case.

Does that mean we are finishing Item No. 3, and that is all we are doing tonight? Is that correct?

And the Local Government (Multi-Storey Buildings) Bill tomorrow?

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

Is that agreed? Agreed.
