Vol. 122 No. 16

Order of Business.

On the question raised by Senator Harte, I think he raises a valid point and we will take that on board at a Committee on Procedure and Privileges meeting immediately after the Order of Business concludes. The Order of Business for today is Item No. 1.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

Is the Order of Business agreed? Agreed.

Perhaps you can direct me on this matter which I formally raised with the Cathaoirleach yesterday. We are very honoured indeed to be back in this Chamber, particularly as the National Flag is here, but could I ask if any provision will be made for the placing of the Seal of Ireland in this House along side the National Flag?

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

That would be a matter for the Committee on Procedure and Privileges to take up. Perhaps your colleagues might do that.

I am scheduled for another meeting. I am not walking out in protest.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

Many thanks, Senator Harte. While we are waiting for the Minister to arrive, I should like to say that, in dealing with the points I raised earlier I should have included the approaches to the Clerk's desk. I would hope Senators would bear that in mind.

Order of Business agreed to.
