I regard the matters raised by Senators Murphy, Upton, Neville, Costello, Doyle, Ross and Jackman as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Murphy's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Upton, Neville, Costello, Doyle, Ross and Jackman may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
I regret I have to rule that the matters raised by Senator Norris and Senator Cosgrave are not suitable for discussion — Senator Norris's on the ground of lack of ministerial responsibility and Senator Cosgrave's as it advocates legislation.
