Seanad Éireann debate -
Friday, 25 May 1990

Vol. 125 No. 3

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Joe Costello that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today he proposes to raise the following matter:

the need for the Minister for Education urgently to provide permanent accommodation and proper facilities for the pupils of St. Aidan's Christian Brothers secondary school, Whitehall, Dublin 9, to replace the present totally inadequate prefabricated structure which has been in existence for over 20 years.

I also received notice from Senator Dan Neville of the following matter:

The urgent need for the Minister for Education to fulfil her commitment to the construction of a community school at Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Costello and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Costello's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Neville may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
