Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 30 May 1990

Vol. 125 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senators Tom Raftery and Liam Cosgrave that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, they propose to raise the following matter:

In view of the damage being caused to the economy both locally and nationally by the dispute at Waterford Glass, the need for the Minister for Labour to make every effort to resolve the dispute.

I also received notice from Senator Dan Neville of the following matter:

The urgent need for the Minister for Education to fulfil her commitment to the construction of a community school at Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Raftery, Cosgrave and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matter raised by Senators Raftery and Cosgrave and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Neville may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
