Vol. 125 No. 15

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Paddy McGowan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Marine to review the structures of the Foyle Fisheries Commission.

I also received notice from Senator Patrick Kennedy of the following matter:

The location and development of St. Gabriel's school and clinic in Limerick for the physically handicapped, and the provision of a physical medical service for physically handicapped children on a site adjoining St. Paul's school, Dooradoyle, Limerick, to serve the need of the Mid-Western Health Board area.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to hold a public inquiry into any proposed infill and housing development at West Pier, Dún Laoghaire.

I also received notice from Senator David Norris of the following matter:

Following the recent resolution tabled at the European Parliament, the need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to take an active interest in the case of Raoul Wallenberg.

I regard the matters raised by Senators McGowan, Kennedy, Ross and Norris as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matter raised by Senator McGowan and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Kennedy, Ross and Norris may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
