I move:
That the Report of the Committee on Procedure and Privileges dated 14 November 1990 be laid before the Seanad and that the report be printed.
This is a procedural motion to allow for the report to be circulated. The report deals with the televising of proceedings, rules of coverage, programme format and the restoration of the procedure to allow distinguished persons to address the Seanad. The substance of the report can be debated at a later stage when another motion to adopt the report will have to be taken. All that is necessary now is for the House to give its permission for the report to be circulated.
