Vol. 128 No. 2

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Doyle that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The urgent need for a paediatric unit at Wexford General Hospital.

I also received notice from Senator Raftery of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to take steps to remove dead and dangerous trees in public places, particularly those along the roadsides.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Marine to hold a public inquiry into any proposed infill and housing development at West Pier, Dún Laoghaire.

I also received notice from Senator Seán Byrne of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Education the reason for the delay with regard to an extension at Ardfinnan national school, Clonmel.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Doyle, Raftery, Ross and Byrne as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Doyle's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Raftery, Ross and Byrne may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
