Vol. 130 No. 17

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Hugh Byrne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to outline the Teagasc proposals regarding the closure of the soft fruit centre in Clonroche, County Waterford, and other centres.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications to outline the present position of the extension of the DART to Greystones, County Wicklow, and to provide extra subvention to Bus Átha Cliath to ensure adequate bus services.

I also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to ensure that the extension to the Girls primary school in Adare, County Limerick, is constructed in 1992.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Byrne, Ross and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Byrne's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business, Senators Ross and Neville may give notice another day of the matters they wish to raise.
