Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 6 Feb 1992

Vol. 131 No. 5

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Dardis that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to make provision for a northern access road from the new motorway by-pass to the town of Kilcullen, County Kildare.

I also received notice from Senator Norris of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to accede to the expressed wishes of Seanad Éireann and Dublin Corporation by making a substantial cash grant from lottery funding for the rebuilding of the Hirschfeld Centre in Dublin.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make extra funding available through the Eastern Health Board for Wicklow community services.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Dardis, Norris and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Dardis' matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Norris and Ross may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
