Vol. 132 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Cassidy that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make resources available to the Midland Health Board to enable them to provide additional bed spaces for longstay patients at St. Peters Hospital, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to make a special amenity area order for the Dargle Valley.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Cassidy and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Cassidy's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Ross may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
