Vol. 133 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Hederman that, on the motion for the Adjourment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to make the necessary regulations to provide traffic signs for cycling facilities as a matter of urgency.

I also received notice from Senator Naughten of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to take immediate steps to reverse the very serious decline in the income of Irish sheep farmers.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to issue guidelines to local authorities regarding the adoption and rescinding of resolutions regarding the licensing of amusement halls.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Hederman, Naughten and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators Hederman and Naughten's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Ross may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
