Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 10 Jun 1993

Vol. 136 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Ross that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to make funds available for phase 2 of the Dargle flood protection scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice immediately to introduce, with the Garda authorities, special arrangements to ensure that visitors to this country, especially during the high tourist season, are not subjected to robberies, physical attacks, car breakins and other abuses.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Ross and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
