Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 28 Oct 1993

Vol. 137 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Quinn that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to consider moving Ireland to European Time with effect from October 1994.

I also received notice from Senator Cotter of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide funding for a new school for Killany, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, to replace the existing school which was built in 1847.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to allocate more funding to Co-operation North.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Quinn's Cotter and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators Quinn's and Cotter's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Ross may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
