I have notice from Senator Michael O'Kennedy that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to request Bord Telecom to carry out a social impact study of the effect of its re-balancing programme on handicapped, disabled and immobile people with a view to limiting the hardship of the new scheme of charges on such citizens.
I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
