Vol. 139 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Cosgrave that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to take immediate action to redress the deterioration in postal services in Dublin and countrywide.

I have also received notice from Senator Doyle of the following matter:

The proposed closure of St. Anne's girls' national school, Milltown, Dublin 6.

I have also received notice from Senator Farrelly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to have moneys provided for the Kells by-pass, Kells, County Meath.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Cosgrave and Doyle as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret that I have had to rule the matter raised by Senator Farrelly as not suitable for discussion on the Adjournment on the grounds of lack of ministerial responsibility.
