Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 5 May 1994

Vol. 140 No. 7

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Neville that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications to extend throughout the State the facility whereby telephone calls to all Government offices, regardless of location, are charged at local call rates.

I have also received notice from Senator Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to give the up to date position on Phase 2 of the Mayo General Hospital.

I regard the matter raised by Senator Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret that I have had to rule Senator Burke's matter out of order as it is repetitious.
