Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Wall that, on the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the funding, framework of operations and rules concerning the home-help scheme as operated by the health boards.

I have also received notice from Senator McGennis of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to purchase the site which has been reserved for a regional technical college in the Blanchardstown area, bearing in mind that a private developer has a two year option on this site.

I have also received notice from Senator Kelly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to give consideration to the proposal to establish a senior training centre for travellers in Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I have also received notice from Senator Sherlock of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to establish a purpose built neo-natal unit to serve Cork city and county, and to make the appropriate arrangements in this regard.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

In view of the results of a recent survey by ASH, which showed that 90 per cent of attempted purchases of cigarettes by children under 16 were successful, the need for the Minister for Health to review the 1990 regulations governing same.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Wall's and Senator McGennis's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
