Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Byrne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to review the operation of the European Communities (Fees for Health Inspection and Control of Fresh Meat) Regulations, 1995, in view of the impact and cost of the regulations on local authorities and abattoir inspectors.

I have also received notice from Senator Cosgrave of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to establish a task force to tackle the increasing wave of crime as outlined in the recent survey carried out by RGDATA.

Can we take a sos for three minutes, please?

With the agreement of the House, we will adjourn until 3 o'clock.

Sitting suspended at 2.35 p.m. and resumed at 3 p.m.
