I have notice from Senator Finneran that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide transport for two deaf boys in County Roscommon to the deaf unit at the convent primary school in Ballymahon, County Longford.

I have received notice from Senator Kelly on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to give senior training centre status to the Riverside Training Centre at Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I have received notice from Senator Cosgrave on the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Education whether any Regulations or Statutory Instruments under section 19 (4) of the Local Government Act, 1993, have been passed in connection with the filling of casual vacancies on Dublin vocational education committee.

I have received notice from Senator Maloney on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht to include the Theatre Project in Lettterkenny on the priority list of projects to be sent to Bord Fáilte for evaluation from a tourism and economic perspective.

I have received notice from Senator McGennis on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement regarding the Eastern Health Board proposal to provide a drug treatment centre at JCM House, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Finneran and Kelly and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
