Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 15 May 1996

Vol. 147 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator McGennis that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to outline the reason the boys' and girls' schools at Scoil Bhríde, Blanchardstown, do not have a separate full-time remedial teacher.

I have also received notice from Senator Maloney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to grant disadvantaged status to Scoil Cholmcill, Letterkenny, County Donegal.

I have also received notice from Senator Sherlock of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to outline this policy on the promotion and marketing of venison.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator McGennis's and Senator Maloney's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Sherlock may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
