Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 16 May 1996

Vol. 147 No. 7

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Sherlock that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to outline his policy on the promotion and marketing of venison.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Kennedy of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to introduce a special scheme of premium compensation for winter beef producers.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
