Vol. 147 No. 16

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Ross that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to provide funding for a swimming pool in Wicklow town.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Kennedy on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to establish an independent living fund to provide self determination, responsibility and control for Irish people with disabilities.

I have also received notice from Senator Sherlock on the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide adequate accommodation for 180 pupils and eight teachers at gaelscoil Tomás Dáibhis in Mallow, County Cork.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Ross and Senator O'Kennedy's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Sherlock may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
