Vol. 148 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Rory Kiely that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to provide escort facilities on buses transporting handicapped children to the Holy Family School for Mentally Handicapped in Charleville, County Cork.

I have also received notice from Senator McGowan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Social Welfare to make a statement on the student summer jobs scheme.

I regard the matters raised by Senator Kiely and Senator McGowan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
