I would now like to announce to the Seanad that on 13 June 1997 the Taoiseach nominated Tom Berkery, Niamh Bhreathnach, Niamh Cosgrave, Michael Enright and Aidan O'Connor, with their prior consent, to fill the casual vacancies in the number of nominated Members of Seanad Éireann caused by the election to Dáil Éireann of Brian Hayes, Billy Kelleher, Marian McGennis, Jack Wall and G.V. Wright.
