Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 17 May 2000

Vol. 163 No. 7

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Kathleen O'Meara that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to make funds available to upgrade Littleton national school, County Tipperary, which is in a deplorable state and in need of urgent attention.

I have also received notice from Senator Ann Leonard of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science urgently to grant departmental recognition to the Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre, Rockcorry, County Monaghan, currently operated by County Monaghan Vocational Education Committee without any State funding.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
